The Tampa Bay Lightning logo was unveiled for the team’s twenty fifth season in addition to several other events which will be an essential part of the festivities apart from the Tampa Bay Lightning Logo unveiling during the year 2017 and 2018.
Lightning CEO Steve Griggs stated, “It is with great excitement that we unveil the logo and announce a few of the details surrounding our 25th anniversary celebration tonight. As the Lightning franchise turns a quarter century old, it is a perfect time to reflect upon and celebrate the people and moments that have defined the team from its conception. As we continue to strive every day to create a world class-team on and off the ice, we look forward to honoring the past and our great fan base.”

The Tampa Bay Lightning Logo will feature the number twenty five in addition to the 25th anniversary logo on the front of the jerseys. Beneath the logo and number featured are the years 1992-2017, which are supposed to represent the team’s very first season along with the year it will move forward with its twenty fifth season.
A twenty fifth anniversary patch is going to be attached to the right upper corner of the chest on the Lightning’s home shirt throughout the 25th season. Furthermore, the road uniforms will also feature the twenty fifth anniversary patch for the games which are following the NHL All Star Weekend. For all the games preceding the All-Star, break road shirts are going to feature the new 2018 NHL All-Star logo patch.
In association with the Lightning’s twenty fifth anniversary season the Tampa Bay Lightning is going to host numerous events which are going to honor the company’s history, in addition to those people and occasions which had an important impact on the business.
