Who knew that the new Assassins Creed logo would be revealed like this? First posted on the Facebook fan page named Le Verità dell’Animus, the image of a T shirt’s graphic reveals the Assassins Creed logo along with the lead character for Ubisoft’s upcoming sequel. The image then spread like fire all over the various different social media platforms.
Judging by the picture we can see printed on the shirt, which looks very basic and not too ostentatious, a man yielding a bow suggests some long ranging abilities, and a shield which can point to a ruthless melee combat.
The t-shirt, apart from the Assassins Creed logo, also indicates that the name of the hero might perhaps be Be Yek. After the help of Google Translate, we came to understand the name is Kurdish for “one”. The translation makes sense, but let us leave something to the imagination.
Ubisoft, the production house of the game, has also taken notice of the graphic tee. Previously listed game director for Assassins Creed 4, Ashraf Ismail, is currently listed as the director of “an unannounced project” cheekily subtweeted as “Nice T-Shirt” on the picture flooding twitter.
The t-shirt graphics is in perfect sync with the information we had about the new Assassins Creed game. Earlier this month, it was revealed that the game previously known for its title ‘Empire’ will now be called ‘Origin’. The game will be set in an Egyptian Era and will be featuring a mystery on boats. Closer look at the t shirts also provides us with the exact era the game might be set in. Clearly written on the top right corner of the shirt is ‘49BCE’.
With the numerous leaks making their way out of Ubisoft, already during the pre-E3 season, it is just a matter of time before the business has something more to say on this topic officially. Assassins Creed Origins is all set to be launched before March 2018.
