Orlando Magic will have a pixie dust twist on their uniform this 2017-2018 NBA season. Walt Disney World Resort became the very first sponsor and thus the Disney logo will be sported on the Orlando Magic’s uniforms. This Disney Logo is supposed to be a magical twist to the uniforms along with enhancing the relationship between both the Disney and basketball fans.
According to the Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins, “With Orlando as our hometown, magic has always been a key strand of our DNA. This expanded agreement with Disney brings our story full circle and represents the coming together of two dynamic organizations that have become synonymous with Orlando.”
Since Disney became a ‘Champion of the Community Sponsor’ with the Magic back in 2010, it has been actively working alongside the Magic to outreach the initiatives which would be beneficial for the local people and the community to make Central Florida a comparatively better region to live in.
This sponsorship only leads to strengthening the ties between the Magic and Disney by connecting both the fan bases together to offer mutual marketing prospects. This will also help to seal Central Florida’s reputation as one of the best global sports state.

President of Walt Disney World Resort George A. Kalogridis said that, “At Walt Disney World Resort, we naturally believe in all things magic and are happy to support our hometown team. This long-term relationship symbolizes our shared focus of solidifying Orlando as a world class city for sports.”
As a part of this multi-year pact, Disney is now going to increase its presence in the Amway Center by adding a special hospitality and seating area which can be utilized for the yearly pass holder upgrades during Orlando Magic games at home. The Orlando Magic T-shirts with the Disney logo will be made available for purchasing at the Amway Center.
Orlando Magic has become the seventh NBA team, after the Cavaliers, to announce a sponsored jersey. The Disney logo will appear on the left front side of the shirt and measures 2.5 by 2.5 inches.
