Google Logo for Rio 2016 Paralympic Games

Google has designed a special animated sports logo design aka ‘doodle’ for the Paralympics 2016. Its specialty is that it integrates a number of sports within one animated design.

Google quoted about the new logo stating that it celebrates the opening of the 2016 Summer Paralympics and highlighted the incredible features of athleticism the participants will demonstrate in Rio. They will be going for Gold during a year of firsts, Rio the first Latin American city to host the Paralympics will debut canoeing and paratriathlon among the more than 500 existing events stated Google about the new doodle.

The Doodle has the following sport events depicted:

* Swimming
swimming

* Cycling
cycling

* Weight Lifting
lifting

* Volley Ball
volley

* Running
running

* Soccer
soccer

Google also quoted:
“What started as a small gathering of British WWII veterans in 1948 has bloomed into the world’s largest sporting event for athletes with physical disabilities, drawing 4,500 athletes from 176 countries worldwide”.
