Google has gone all out with marketing what would be Frank Fischinger’s 117th birthday. The German-American artist is being remembered with an interactive Google doodle in which people will be able to make their own visual music composition. The man who pioneered abstract visuals with music, long before computer technology existed has been remembered by Google with a very apt Google doodle.
The famous composer is known for fleeing Hitler’s Germany for the U.S in 1936, as the Nazi party was cracking down on artists that were using their art to express their opinion on the Nazi party. Oppression was the party’s forte as they wanted absolute control of the country.
Nowadays many people consider him to have been ahead of his own time. In a period when digital post production was nonexistent, Frank Fischinger was able to produce some magnificent abstract film graphics.
From Germany to Hollywood Studios, Frank Fischinger will be best remembered for transforming the animation industry by producing some engaging animations. He’s best remembered for synching animations for the popular and classic musicals to Walt Disney’s ‘Fantasia’ and ‘Pinocchio’.
Google Doodle has smartly integrated Frank Fischinger’s profession and presented in a manner that any Google user will be able to engage with and dance to their own personalized tunes. The Doodle is a dream come true for all aspiring musicians, and will also bring to the surface the love for creating music people didn’t know they had.
Once you open the Google Doodle, it’ll lead you to a browser where you can visually compose your own music by selecting the dots. Each dot represents a note that can be selected with four different instruments.
We all know the hassle that is attached with finding the perfect ringtone and message tones for mobile phones. Out of the thousands of different genres of tunes available, here are only a few that we end up using. Google doodle lets you share your creativity on different platforms, and save it for use on your phones. Now, whenever your phone buzzes, you will be hearing your own customized tune rather than from the default options which a user may have been forced to use.
