Godiva was founded in Belgium in 1926. Godiva is a premium yet affordable chocolate, whose packing was redesigned. It owns more than 600 retail outlets in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. The new packaging will be applied only to the chocolate bars.

Godiva’s new look was rebranded and redesigned by Pearlfisher New York. Pearlfisher is a creative and brand design agency with offices in London, New York, Copenhagen and San Francisco.

Godiva had challenged Pearlfisher to make its new packaging in a way to make it look like a luxury that is affordable. That is exactly what Pearlfisher did; it visually expressed Godiva’s point of difference. Gave it a new look that would make Godiva stand out on the confectionary shelf.

Every now and then I indulge in a Godiva Chocolate bar; its taste rich is simply divine. I like how the color palette in the new package has changed from a darker palette to a warmer and welcoming one that is appealing to the eye. I love how each flavor has a different gradient. The ingredients artistically displayed on the packaging gives it the perfect touch.
